Coolpad Cool 20 Pro Overview

During the first half of 2021, Coolpad had launched Coolpad Cool 20 and now, we got its Pro variant. Coolpad Cool 20 Pro is a mid-range smartphone and finding its palace in the list of Best Smartphones Under Rs. 40000 in Nepal. The attraction of this mobile phone are:

Design/Display

Coolpad Cool 20 Pro features a flat display design similar to iPhone 13 Mini but this device has a water-drop notch on the top. The square camera bump is placed at the top-left corner of the rear panel and cool logo below it. This mobile measures 162.8 x 74.8 x 8.3 mm and weighs 193 grams. 

Coolpad Cool 20 Pro comes in a 6.58-inches IPS LCD and supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The cherry at the top of the cake is it arrives with a 120Hz refresh rate which will be handy for this price range. More about the display, it has an 85.8% screen-to-body ratio and 400PPI density.

Performance

The popularity of the Dimensity processor is skyrocketing as this device also packs the same. Coolpad Cool 20 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G, the same chipset that powers Oppo Reno 6. This octa-core processor has 2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores.

Taking care of graphics in this smartphone is done by Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. For the memory, it has 6/8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Interestingly, it has support for up to 5GB of extended RAM. 

Camera

The camera specs are impressive in this smartphone. Coolpad Cool 20 Pro comes with a 50MP Primary Wide lens and is supported by an 8MP Ultrawide lens and 2MP Macro Lens. It also has LED flash and records video in 1080@30fps. On the front, it has a single 8MP front camera and the same video recording capability as the rear camera. 

Battery & Others

Coolpad Cool 20 Pro packs a non-removable 4500mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging and USB Type-C 2.0. Android 11 with CoolOS 2 is pre-installed on this smartphone. For biometric, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is available in Black, Blue, White, Gold color variants.
