Display/Design

Realme 8i has sleek and slim design with dimensions of 164.1 x 75.5 x 8.5 mm and weight 194grams. It has punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner of the display which is really handy for a smartphone costing less than Rs. 30,000 in Nepal. For protection, it has glass front, plastic frame and plastic back. 

Realme 8i comes in a 6.6-inches IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution. Most importantly, it has a 120Hz refresh rate which is adaptive and changes between 45/60/50/90/120Hz according to the content of the screen. Performance

Realme 8i is the first smartphone to arrive in the commercial market with MediaTek Helio G96 processor. Later on, Infinix Note 11 Pro used the same chipset. Talking about the optics of Realme 8i, it has a triple rear camera fitted inside the rectangular camera bump at the top-left corner of the rear panel. The rear camera is led by 50MP Primary wide lens and supported by 2MP Macro lens and 2MP B&W Sensor. It also has LED flash and can record video in 1080@30fps. 

On the front, it has a single 16MP Selfie Camera placed inside the punch-hole at the top-left corner. It also can record video in 1080@30fps and various camera features are available like Ultra Steady Video, Night Mode, Panoramic view, Timelapse, Portrait Mode, HDR, AI Scene Recognition, AI Beauty, Filter, Chroma Boost, Slow Motion.
