Design And Display

Starting with the design of Micromax In Note 2, it takes cues from the Samsung S21 series. The phone has a glass finish at the back. It has a similar camera island and sensor placements as that of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. There’s also a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera at the front. Micromax In Note 2 is available in two color options such as Black, and Oak. 

Micromax In Note 2 flaunts a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display panel with 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. There is also a 20:9 aspect ratio, 100% NTSC colors, screen-to-body ratio of 84%, 550 nits peak screen brightness, 409 PPI density, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, etc.

Performance

Powering the Micromax In Note 2 is the octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. Other devices powered by the chipset are Realme 8 and Redmi Note 10S. It is an octa-core processor based on 12 nm processing that clocks up to 2.05Ghz and has Mali-G76 MC4 GPU for graphics. The phone runs on an Android 11 out of the box.

The Micromax In Note 2 is coupled with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and comes with 64GB UFS 2.1 internal storage onboard. You can also expand your storage via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. It also has a liquid cooling system. 

Camera

As for the optics of Micromax In Note 2, the smartphone features a quad-camera setup at the rear. It consists of a 48 MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture & 115-degree FOV, a 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

Micromax In Note 2 boasts a massive non-removable, Li-Po 5,000mAh battery. It also comes with 30W fast charging technology support. The brand claims that the phone takes only 25 minutes to charge from 0% to 50%. Micromax also says that the phone lasts up to 24 hrs of web browsing, 180 hrs of music playback, and 18 hrs of video streaming. The device charges the battery via the Type C port.

Talking about the connectivity options, it features a Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G network, FM radio, etc. For biometrics, it has a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone runs on a stock Android 11.
