Xiaomi 12 Overview

The Nepali market had already seen Xiaomi 11 and Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G and now, we are about to welcome its successor as Xiaomi 12. Display

The display supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. 

Within the 6.28 inches display, a punch-hole cutout is made at the top-center of the display for Front Facing camera. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, Gorilla Glass on the rear panel, and an aluminum frame. It’s a sleek phone with a weight of 180grams. 

Performance

The flagship smartphone needs a flagship processor and the same has happened with Xiaomi 12. It’s powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which will take on Apple Bionic A15 as well as MediaTek Dimensity 9000 in terms of performance. FYI, the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro will also use this same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Coupled with this powerful SoC, we have 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.3 internal storage. 

Camera

Talking about the optics, Xiaomi 12 flaunts a triple Rear camera packed inside the vertical rectangular camera bump on the top-left corner. The camera is Led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 Primary wide camera with the support of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The other camera is 13MP ultrawide lenses with 123-degree and 5MP Telemacro lenses with 3X Zoom. It has Dual-LED dual-tone flash and can record video in 8K at 24/30fps. 

On the front, we have a single 32MP Selfie camera. FYI, the latest Vivo V23 Pro arrives with the Dual Selfie camera. The selfie camera of Xiaomi 12 can record video in 1080p at 30 or 60fps.
