Motorola Partners with CG Mobile To launch its latest Smartphones
It seems like Motorola is back on track with the latest collaboration that happened with CG Mobiles, a subsidiary group of Chaudhary Groups. Thanks to this collaboration, CG Mobiles is the nation’s authorizable reseller for Motorola products. The partnership intends to bring back Motorola’s product line, which includes flagship and entry-level models, to the Nepali market.
With this partnership, Motorola and CG Mobiles hope to offer a range of models that will appeal to diverse market segments. These models will include the flagship Razr series, the premium Edge series, and the midrange G series. It seems like these products might enter the Nepali market before Dashain.

Throughout its history in Nepal, Motorola has made multiple attempts to dominate the market. In 2017, Motorola made its initial entry into the Nepali market through a partnership with LifeCom, which at the time was the authorized distributor of Lenovo handsets. Around 2020, Motorola returned with a new distributor, Call Mobility, handling Lenovo’s distribution in Nepal as well. This endeavor, however, was short-lived since Call Mobility stopped advertising the brand and did not release any new Motorola phones for many years.
With this action, Motorola is making a comeback to Nepal following earlier attempts to gain traction in the industry. By utilizing its experience and presence in the local market, CG Mobiles seeks to guarantee that Motorola’s phones work with Nepal’s cellular networks. Plans for creating after-sales service centers to improve customer support are also part of the partnership.
