Because of this, the color of the phone changes from shift lights blue to red upon exhibition to sunlight. It’s a light and slim smartphone with 182 grams weight and 7.99mm in thickness.

Realme 9 Pro Plus comes in a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 430nits brightness, and 360Hz Touch Sampling rate. With a bit smaller screens-size, Realme 9i arrives with an identical refresh rate. This display has a punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner, supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Performance

Under the hood, Realme 9 Pro Plus is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor. FYI, this is the same chipset that also powers Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge. It’s an octa-core processor based on 6nm technology with a max clock speed of up to 2.5GHz.

Coupled with an octa-core processor, this device has a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. On the memory side, it has 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. For better gaming performance, it has a vapor chamber and a graphite heat dissipation structure.

Camera

Realme has stepped up in the camera of Realme 9 Pro Plus with Sony IMX766 OIS Flagship Camera. This device has a triple rear camera fitted inside the rectangular camera island. The main camera is a 50MP wide lens with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor with 119˚FOV, and 2MP Macro Lens. With LED flash, this camera can record video in 4K at 30fps. The 16MP front-facing camera is placed in the punch-hole for selfies and video calls.
