Last month, Realme had launched Realme Narzo 50i and Realme Narzo 50A. Now, the company has launched the third variant under this lineup: Realme Narzo 50. Design/Display

Realme Narzo 50 is not a proper new smartphone as it’s a rebranded version of Realme 8i which is still available in Nepal. This device measures 164.1 x 75.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 194grams. It has built of glass on the front and plastic on the frame and back.

Realme Narzo 50 comes in a 6.6-inches IPS LCD display but the most important spec here is its 120Hz refresh rate. FYI, this device supports 6 refresh rates: 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. Furthermore, on display, it supports 1080 x 2412 pixels and has an 84.6% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 ratio, and 400 ppi density.

Performance

Under the hood, Realme Narzo 50 is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. Actually, this chipset is popular among mid-range smartphones like Redmi Note 11S, Vivo V23e, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and a few others. This octa-core processor is based on 12nm technology with max clock speed up to 2.05GHz.

Coupled with this chipset, we have Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. On to the memory, it has 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The availability of a dedicated microSD slot will help in memory expansion.

Camera

For photography, Realme Narzo 50 brings the same triple rear cameras combination as the Realme 8i. The camera is led by a 50MP Primary wide lens with the support of a 2MP Macro Lens and a 2MP Depth Sensor.
