Design/Display

By the look of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, we can guess the boxy design has been inherited from the previous Galaxy Note device. This device has a unique camera module on the rear side, separate holes for different camera sensors. It has Gorilla Glass Victus + on the front and rear side with an aluminum frame. This new protection technology is also found in Xiaomi 12 Pro. 

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes in a 6.8-inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with the support of QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate which can be boosted to 240Hz in game mode. With a punch-hole at the top-center of the display, it supports 1750 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and 500PPI density.

Another evidence for this device is a Galaxy Note inheritance is it has a built-in slot for S-Pen. Talking about the upgrade, this new S-Pen has 70% less latency than Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s pen and also supports Bluetooth, accelerometer, and gyro. With a weight of 228grams, it measures 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm.

Performance

Without a shadow of a doubt, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is powered by a flagship chipset as it has Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 under the hood. But depending upon the region, this device will also ship with Exynos 2200 processor. Most of the flagship smartphones of 2022 are arriving with this Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset as the OnePlus 10 Pro, Xiaomi 12, and many other phones.
