Oppo has announced the Oppo Reno 7 5G in India. The smartphone is the smartphone from the Reno 7 series lineup. The other phone of the lineup includes Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G. These smartphones debuted in China a while back and now finally arrived in India. It might launch very soon in Nepal. Oppo Reno 7 5G arrives with a 6.4-inches FHD+ AMOLED display panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports 2400 × 1080 pixels screen resolution, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, 430 nits (typ), 600 nits (HDR), 800 nits (peak), 409 PPI density, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

As for the design, it resembles its bigger sibling Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G. The smartphone ditches a flat-edge design but still has the trademark ‘Reno Glow’ design. It measures 7.81mm in thickness and weighs only 173 grams. The phone arrives in two color options Stary Black and Startrails Blue

Dimensity 900 SoC

As for the performance of the Oppo Reno 7 5G, the smartphone rocks the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. It is the same chipset used in Coolpad Cool 20 Pro. It is an octa-core chipset based on 6nm technology that comes with a maximum clock rate of up to 2.4GHz. For graphics, it has ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.

Likewise, this gadget arrives paired with an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. There is also a memory expansion slot.

Coming to the photography of the smartphone, Oppo Reno 7 5G packs a triple rear camera setup with a squarish camera module. It is led by a 64MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture accompanied by an 8MP Ultrawide lens with f/2.25 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.

While On the front, we have a single 32MP Selfie Camera with f/2.4 aperture & FOV 88.8 degrees.
