Xiaomi 12X Launched in Nepal with 67W Fast Charging

Xiaomi has launched a total of three new smartphones: Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X globally. Among these three, Xiaomi 12X is the base model or we can say it’s the Lite variant of the Xiaomi 12 Series. Here, we are discussing the specs, features, availability, and price of Xiaomi 12X in Nepal.

Xiaomi 12X Overview

As Xiaomi 12X carries most of the specs from the elder sibling Xioami 12, some of the specs are missing in this smartphone to cut the price. Though being Lite, this device packs some of the impressive specs as:

Display

Xiaomi 12X comes in a 6.28-inches curved AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display has powerful features as HDR10+, 1B colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision. Furthermore, it supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 419PPI density, and an 89.2% screen-to-body ratio.

The overall design of Xiaomi 12X is identical to Xiaomi 12: the same punch-hole placement, rear camera design and position, and rest of the module. It measures 176grams and has 152.7 x 69.9 x 8.2 mm dimensions.

Performance

The Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are powered by a flagship processor but Xiaomi 12X arrives with little compromise as it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor. Nevertheless, it’s also a powerful processor and also found in Realme GT Neo 2. This is an octa-core processor based on 7nm technology with a max clock speed of up to 3.2GHz. Likewise, it has Adreno 650 GPU, 8/12GB RAAM, and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. There is no memory card slot so we have to manage with the available internal storage.

Camera

The 50MP Primary wide camera is common in all the Xiaomi 12 Series smartphones. Among the triple rear cameras, the other sensors are a 13MP ultrawide lens with 123˚ FOV and 5MP Telephoto Macro lens. Not to forget, the 50MP SONY IMX766 Primary lens arrives with Optical Images Stabilization (OIS). Accomplished by Dual-LED dual-tone flash, this camera can record video in 8K at 24fps.

Xiaomi 12X is fueled by a non-removable 4500mAh battery and supported by 67W fast charging and USB Type-C 2.0. Based on the advertisement, it can be charged 100% within 39minutes. Sadly, there is no support for wireless fast charging.

Under display fingerprint sensor is available in the device as Biometric security along with Face Unlock. Its runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 as the user interface.
