Ncell X Facebook | Browse Facebook without Balance & Data
Ncell and Meta’s collaboration has introduced something exciting !! The parent company of Facebook and Ncell, Meta, has consented to let Ncell users access Facebook and the internet without balance. Customers of Ncell can now access Facebook even if they do not have a data pack or balance.
Facebook Basic Mode, a Basic version of Facebook, and Discover, an Android app for text-only web browsing, are now available to Ncell customers thanks to the partnership. Despite not supporting audio or video streaming, both apps can be used without a data package. Even when a user’s data allotment runs out. Discover also includes bookmarks to the websites of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).

Umair Mohsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell, states “ “We strongly believe that this initiative contributes to increasing internet adoption in Nepal and ensures that some basic services remain available on our customers’ mobile devices as part of our Sadhain ON campaign.”
This movement pinpoints those audiences who have less or lack internet access and cannot frequently charge data services. Customers with 2G handsets can use this service to access the internet will find this to be of great relevance.
